Cute little bakery across from the Pacific Ocean Market. I was starvin' like Marvin guuuurrrll and needed some quick replenishment before picking up some stuff from Pacific Ocean and stopped in here. I'm so glad I did!!!!

The employees are super nice and efficient. I ordered the BBQ pork banh mi, hot taro milk tea, and bought a coconut bun for later.

The banh mi was legit. The French bread was nice and crusty on the outside. The pork was cooked and seasoned well. The veggies tastes fresh and the dressing portion was perfection. The milk tea hit the spot too because it was such a cold cold day. The coconut bun was not too shabby, though I wish the bread were a bit softer and more moist. The coconut filling was quite delicious though.

Overall, would definitely get another banh mi here. It's reasonably priced and the flavors were yummy! Will be back!

Was out running errands and was craving a boba tea and a quick lunch.  Looked this up on yelp and it seemed like a fit.  So glad I did.  The pork bahn mi sandwich was excellent.  Great flavor combo and a very generous size.  Great value for price - was like $6.50 I think.

Also grabbed a pastry and that too was excellent. Boba tea was ok. I went for plain tea unsweetened, should have tried something more exotic.

Great little bakery/sandwich shop if you are looking for a reasonably priced quick bite to eat.

Grabbed lunch before our flight back home, bf found this spot on yelp and we stopped by.

We had two sandwiches and a Vietnamese coffee. And neither one was really jiving with me. The Vietnamese coffee did not taste like authentic it just tasted like iced coffee. Something was off about it. I got a cha lua banh mi, I usually love the pickled vegetables but the ones here are not the same. They also put a spy based sauce on the sandwiches as well that I wasn't a fan of. It was a bit disappointing, I was hoping for better flavor. But I can understand the palate in Denver maybe different than San Diego.

Overall, service was good, the shop was well kept. Food came out pretty quick. However I didn't like the flavors here and I wouldn't come back.

Hands down the best banh mi I've ever had. The ingredients are fresh, the pork is marinated perfectly, and the bread is nice and crispy. If you're looking for a lighter option or if you're a vegetarian, the spicy avocado is also equally awesome. Pro tip: definitely ask for chili oil and add avocado, be sure to add on a Vietnamese iced coffee.

Vinh Xuong has a great food, but it's also really affordable. A pork/spicy avocado banh mi is only $5 - it's a great deal because the sandwich is so large and filling. Since you're saving so much money, you should add on an order of spring rolls or try a pastry.

Can't wait for my next banh mi and to introduce more people to this awesome place.

I absolutely love the tofu bahn mi here! The tofu is so flavorful and the bread is really fresh. You won't be disappointed.
